Online registration for Mumbai Cyclothon to be closed on 21.02.2018 (23.59 hours). Only offline registration to continue at Expo.

The Amateur race category shall be a timed 18 km race for men & women and shall have a total prize money fund of INR 4 lacs.

Please note, Amateur Race participants must bring their own cycles.

All participants are required to wear crash helmet for the event failing which they may endanger their personal security. The details of the route will be shared soon along with the locations of Ambulances, Water points, cycle repair points and fire tenders.

All competitors are required to wear the number bibs with the names and logos of the sponsors of the event. In case of failure to comply the participant(s) may be disqualified.

All cyclists are required to abide by prevailing traffic rules and strictly follow the displayed road signage and the instructions placed by the organizers. Strict disqualification action will be initiated against any participant found trying to pressurize / influence the organizer(s). Any breaking of rule will be charged by a warning. The participant shall be disqualified after three such warnings. The cyclists arriving after half an hour of the arrival of the winner of the ride will compulsorily make use of breakdown van. The decision of the Judge / Commissar shall be final.

The competitors will be liable for disqualification in case:
(a) He / She try to obstruct the path of any other competitor.
(b) He / She take any assistance from any other vehicle.

It is compulsory for all the participants to be present at the prize distribution ceremony and receive the prize from the chief guest, failing which 25% of the entitled amount shall be deducted from the prize money. The organizers cannot be held responsible for any lapse due to ignorance of rules by the participants.

It is requested that all riders show healthy competition, wholehearted participation and create an atmosphere of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and discipline for all to emulate. We sincerely hope that your institutions will help us in making this event a grand success. Finally, we welcome and wish all the best to all our participants.

No participation shall be allowed without formal registration for any categories of event.

We look forward to active and wholehearted participation from all of you, not only to make this a memorable event for our city but also to sensitize everyone regarding the ‘Environment, Fuel Conservation and Health’. Please do not hesitate to share your views on making this event a grand success. To achieve the record participation, everyone is important and together we can take our city into the record books.

Only those persons, who are National Registered Elite cyclists and have their own racing cycles, may register their names for Elite category.
